Cookies
We don’t use cookies for marketing.
data-envoy.com sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We don’t follow you across websites, and there are no scripts from ad networks.
What we use
The site works without consent, because it only uses the technical minimum.
If you choose to log in, we set a necessary cookie that keeps you logged in for the session. It disappears when you log out or close the browser.
We count visits without cookies. The server works out an anonymous visit ID that changes every night, so we can see how many people visited today but can’t recognise anyone tomorrow. We also record the name of the network a visit comes from — for example a company’s domain or an internet provider. The IP address itself is not stored. The same applies on ur19.io.
If you say yes when Roger asks whether he may remember your conversation, we set a cookie with an anonymous ID. It keeps the conversation for up to 12 months, and you can type “delete my data” at any time. If you click from data-envoy.com to ur19.io or back, the conversation follows you through a one-time link that expires after two minutes. If you say no, nothing is stored and nothing follows you.
Your choice in the cookie banner is remembered in your browser, so we don’t ask again.
We load fonts from Google Fonts. Your IP address is technically visible to that service when the font is fetched. If you want to avoid that, you can block external fonts in your browser — the site keeps working.
- Login session — necessary
- Visit counts without cookies — network name, never IP
- Roger’s conversation cookie — only if you say yes
- No analytics or advertising cookies
- No profiling
- No sharing with ad networks
- Fonts loaded externally
How to turn them off
You can delete and block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, you can’t stay logged in — the rest of the site works as before. If you block Roger’s cookie, he simply won’t remember you. Want to see the cookie banner again? Reset your choice.
